Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) has two phases: the first phase is of active disease when the child id symptomatic and the second phase is of remission when the child is symptom-free. Besides medicine, exercises play a very important part in the treatment of JIA. Exercises like cycling and swimming help a lot in building muscles around the joint. It is important to get treated as early as possible.

Dr. Mohit Kumar Arora, Associate Consultant – Pediatric Orthopedics at Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Gurugram explains the treatment of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis.
